The UK Pay-Per-Report Alternative to Social Catfish, SwindlerBuster & BeenVerified
Most background and catfish lookup websites are built for US county records and lock users into $27–$65/month recurring subscriptions. Before You Date (`beforeyoudate.co.uk`) is built for UK daters on Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, and Match—with a single £3.99 one-time payment per report.

2. Detailed UK Breakdown
Before You Date vs. Social Catfish
Social Catfish is popular in North America for romance-scam investigations, but requires recurring USD subscriptions that often separate text searches from reverse-image plans. Before You Date combines reverse-image checks, social username correlation, and UK public directory lookups into a single £3.99 report.
Before You Date vs. SwindlerBuster
SwindlerBuster focuses narrowly on checking a single dating platform. Before You Date cross-references reused usernames, social handles, UK public registries, and uploaded profile photos across the wider web so you can spot stolen catfish photos and alias discrepancies.
Before You Date vs. BeenVerified & Spokeo
BeenVerified, Spokeo, and TruthFinder index US voter rolls, US county courts, and US phone carriers. If your match lives in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, or Leeds, US people-search subscriptions provide little UK coverage.

UK Comparison FAQs
Why do US people-search sites like BeenVerified and Spokeo struggle with UK dating checks?
Platforms such as BeenVerified, Spokeo, and TruthFinder are built primarily around US county court records, US telephone directories, and US state registries. For UK singles on Tinder, Hinge, or Bumble, Before You Date focuses on UK-relevant open-source intelligence (including UK Companies House records, social handle footprints, and global reverse-image matching) priced in GBP (£3.99 one-off).
How does Before You Date pricing compare to Social Catfish?
Social Catfish primarily relies on recurring USD monthly memberships (typically $27.48 to $64.95+ per month depending on search and image tiers). Before You Date uses a transparent £3.99 one-time payment per report with zero recurring subscriptions.
How does Before You Date differ from SwindlerBuster?
SwindlerBuster focuses on single-app profile checks billed in USD. Before You Date combines reverse-image catfish detection, cross-platform social username checks, and UK public record lookups in one report, alongside a free username checker and Get Verified dater badges.
Will the person I search on Before You Date be notified?
No. Searches query publicly available web sources passively—the subject is never notified or alerted.
